Yellow Tulips- David Hockney

This painting is a part of David Hockney’s 1997 collection titled Yellow Tulips. I chose this painting because I thought I t was very pretty. It is pretty simple compared t his other work. I like how he captured the reflectiveness of the vase. I also lik how the background is very simple and does not take away from the flowers. I also like how the yellow pops in the painting. I like Hockneys work is about things that he sees and makes them a little more vivid.
