Sol Lewitt ( Wall Drawing #1136)
This wall painting is a conceptual artwork by Sol Lewitt. It is named Wall Drawing #1136. It is made with acrylic paint using only primary colors and secondary colors. I like how there is curve horizontal line breaking up the very straight vertical lines. And I also like how there is no distinct pattern to the colors but it feels like there is some sort of pattern. I also like how every band of color is the same width even the curve bands that are going horizontal. I admire that a lot of Lewitt's work seems to have to do with geometry. This one just seemed more fun to me.
