This painting was by David Hockney whom was a renowned British painter in the 1960s. When looking at his paintings I realized I like a lot of them because of how vibrant a lot of them were. I love his use of colors. In this painting specifically I love how he captured the person under the water which I feel like could be a very difficult thing to really capture. I really like how he made the water look like real water with depth and movement.
