This drawing by Sol Lewitt, is called Wall Drawing 869C. This drawing remind me of the topographic maps I saw in earth science class. The drawing does not show straight horizontal lines instead is shows slightly curved lines. It looks like a mountain range or a canyon to me which I thought was interesting. I like the idea of this copied line concept, because it can vary so much. I think its really interesting to look at and shows such movement. I also think the use of just black and white is so dynamic. This copied line drawing is from the top of a 48 inch square.
