This piece of art is from a Dominican American artist called Firelei Báez. Her artwork is based on evoking political implications of tattoos, hairstyles among other thing related issues with cultural identities that remain in today's society. I love this painting. it is the perfect example of an afro Latina or American woman, and I feel identify with this art piece.
