Sisyphus at her Toilette

Sisyphus at her Toilette made in 2012 was a collage, acrylic and charcoal drawing done by Mary Reid Kelly. This piece of artwork shows Sisyphus painting on a face almost clown-like and she is painting on her dress as well. I chose this piece of artwork because I have never seen anything like this before. I also love how it is in black and white. The detail is amazing and I find it interesting that Mary Reid Kelly uses her artwork as storylines. I have never seen nor heard anything like that before which is great.
