This is a painting by Jenny Saville. It took 2 years to paint it from 2004-05. The medium is oil on canvas. She captured the horror of child abuse in a painting. It hurts to look at this painting. I wonder if the kid in this painting was actually abused, and how much trauma he has suffered if it was real. Not everyone has loving parents.

Ruben's Flap

This piece is artwork is called Ruben's Flap. This was created in 1998-1999. 1998 was actually the year I was born. I picked this piece because I love how she is showing three different women's bodies. You can tell one of the woman have larger breasts than the others, also you can see how different she made these breasts. This shows that we all have different bodies. I also love the contrast and the the texture she made the women. Overall, this was a great piece of artwork.
